Malhavok:
Thank you for applying to Sonic X-Plosion '98. We received a total of 101 submissions this year from artists all over the Northwest. Each entry was reviewed by all members of the Elemental staff.
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer you a slot in this year's competition. Narrowing the field from over 100 bands to only 12 was not an easy task. Many very worthy submissions were not included in the final 12, and as a result, a plethora of talent simply could not be fit into this event. Elemental, KNRQ and the WOW Hall pride themselves on being open to a wide variety of musical stylings; selections for this year's event were based on musical merit as well as being mindful of stylistic diversity.
Elemental Records, KNRQ and the WOW Hall want to thank you for your interest in Sonic X-Plosion '98. We are keeping your recording here at the office, and we welcome you to keep us "in the loop" for, any future developments or additional recordings from your act.
